What Is Venous Hypertension?

Vasculitis is a kind of inflammation that takes place in the arteries that supply blood to the extremities of the body, namely the extremities. Some of the most common places where this vasculitis takes place include: sinus cavities, nasal passageways, and jugular veins. All these locations where the disease can take place are called arterioles.

The venous drainage of these arterioles are not only classified as venous venoarteritis which means the condition wherein the vessels have inflammation as well as the possible formation of deep venous stenosis. However, there are other conditions that can also take place in the sinus cavities. These are known as sinus arthropathy and this condition is the one which causes arterioles to leak.

The swelling of the blood vessels usually happens during the acute stage of the disease but there are other cases wherein it can take place after a period of time. This swelling can occur in the form of thrombosed calcifications and it's the function of these calcifications to fill up the larger sized vessels in the body. This swelling can be described as any kind of infection and it can either affect the walls of the blood vessels or the wall itself. It will prevent the oxygenated blood from reaching the affected area.

Pathophysiology is the scientific term that defines the process that can be noticed in a particular situation. Pathophysiology is used in many aspects like when a patient undergoes surgery and needs to undergo cardiac arrest.

We know that surgery is accompanied by all kinds of risk including infection and cellular debris can enter the body. Infection and cellular debris have the ability to cause inflammation and thickening of blood vessels thus can lead to vascular surgery.

Aortic stenosis and aortic aneurysm are two of the most common causes of arterial inflammation. These two conditions can result in the start of the inflammation of the artery and then form thickening in the wall of the artery.

The vascular inflammation will become worse as the condition gets worse. During the acute phase of the disease the only symptoms will be pain and swelling in the area where the aneurysm is located. However, it will only cause some pain and discomfort and won't cause any more damage to the patient.

When the condition goes into its advanced phase of progression, vascular inflammation will increase the activity of cells and will reduce the blood supply for the arterial linings. This will then cause pain in the upper limbs and it will have the tendency to raise the pulse rate. This is because the blood flow will get reduced and the arteries won't be able to carry sufficient blood.

Arteries that are not covered by a protective cuff can collapse and this can lead to severe compression of the heart. This condition can cause fatal consequences, because if the coronary arteries don't work, the heart will not be able to pump enough blood to the rest of the body.

Medical experts said that this condition may be diagnosed when the aneurysm has already developed or when there is a suspicion that the condition will occur. The symptoms that can be seen when this condition occurs are: pain, muscle stiffness, chest discomfort, tightness, pressure, loss of consciousness, shortness of breath, coughing, breathlessness, nausea, vomiting, a lot of pressure on the chest, and a hoarse voice.

The symptoms that can be experienced in cases of severe angina are the same as described above. However, there are some signs that can be observed during severe angina. These include the feeling of a crushing pressure in the chest, cramping in the chest, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, rapid and deep breathing, swelling of the arms and legs, nausea, blood in the urine, flushing and tingling sensations, feeling of pain, excessive sweating, and tingling sensations, among others.
